Antwerp's supporters rose to their feet, but Zackery Heathwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carson Perrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ozzie Rosenboom came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Dreamers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ozzie Rosenboom couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Dreamers FC's Ozzie Rosenboom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Mccarthy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brendan Weller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Mccarthy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendan Weller in the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brendan Weller in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Mccarthy saved Antwerp from getting behind. Thomas Mccarthy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ozzie Rosenboom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brendan Weller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Mccarthy having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Dalton Fenwick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Antwerp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dreamers FC the free kick. In the 41st minute, Dalton Fenwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doyle Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Carson Perrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Antwerp booed when Dreamers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jared Addison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dreamers FC's Carson Perrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackery Heathwood in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doyle Alves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ozzie Rosenboom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Doyle Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Ozzie Rosenboom rounded Antwerp's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Antwerp were furious when George Smoothey was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Antwerp fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! After 70 played minutes Dreamers FC got a freekick which was hit by Jared Addison. Doyle Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carson Perrett having to make a save. Archie Hollis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carson Perrett having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozzie Rosenboom in the 82nd minute of play forced Antwerp's goalkeeper Thomas Mccarthy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doyle Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Brendan Weller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dreamers FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
