Spectators: 8003 (Terracing: 6004, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Larkins Bonnison started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Hop Skip Jump booed when Timberwolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliot Aroege didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Brockman Prince got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luke Mcgaw kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Timberwolves's Larkins Bonnison got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brockman Prince got free with Munroe Shipman in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lawrance Will hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Hop Skip Jump's Munroe Shipman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larkins Bonnison in the 13th minute of play. Stephan Boots fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Beale having to interfere. Roland Beale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jayden Dowsing in the 17th minute of the match. Brockman Prince received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Munroe Shipman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Hop Skip Jump getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Luke Mcgaw hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes, Hop Skip Jump's Jess Turnbull shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roland Beale came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hop Skip Jump reached it. Roland Beale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan Boots in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Timberwolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliot Aroege to maneuver through the defense. Jayden Dowsing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Beale having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jayden Dowsing in the 48th minute of play forced Timberwolves's goalkeeper Roland Beale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jayden Dowsing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stephan Boots who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Roland Beale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 58 minutes, Jayden Dowsing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hop Skip Jump's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jayden Dowsing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roland Beale made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Stephan Boots sent off a good shot on target. Larkins Bonnison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Munroe Shipman having to make a save. If Larkins Bonnison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Timberwolves getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Dane Sewell hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Timberwolves's goal looked a bit too open when Jayden Dowsing came free, but Roland Beale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jayden Dowsing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Beale having to interfere. Handley Kuskoff hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A collision led to Hop Skip Jump getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Lawrance Will hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Timberwolves's Rick Luckham broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Stephan Boots could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Roland Beale made a huge save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
