Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thomas Christini made the kick off which started today's match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hal Hursey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mayfield fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Niles Malacarne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dakota Ritter, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pilbara Palisades's zone, Brannan Serena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hal Hursey came out of the goal and Brannan Serena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute of the match Jason Adamson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niles Malacarne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Niles Malacarne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Christini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Christini in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niles Malacarne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Darin Norton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Hal Hursey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
