An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnabas Hayman in the 29th minute of play forced Two Left Feet's goalkeeper Murdock Muddle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Duncan Stageman sped through Two Left Feet's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Murdock Muddle. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duncan Stageman was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Stageman in the 55th minute of play forced Two Left Feet's goalkeeper Murdock Muddle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murdock Muddle acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cod Blackham. In the 66th match minute, Two Left Feet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danton Orr to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Andre Hitchen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Two Left Feet's Murdock Muddle didn't even have to move. Cole Cooney was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, one of Two Left Feet:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Two Left Feet. Murdock Muddle went to the wrong direction when Andre Hitchen was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Elliot Serena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Baxter having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Cullen Haberle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Two Left Feet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cullen Haberle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elliott Baxter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cullen Haberle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Two Left Feet's Murdock Muddle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Two Left Feet from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Elliot Serena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barnabas Hayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murdock Muddle having to interfere. The Convicts players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
