Spectators: 8017 (Terracing: 6015, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jemmett Woodbridge got the match started through his kick off. If Paz Heberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Paz Heberle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dave Hislop was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarvis Inwood got free with Brooker Haslett in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jemmett Woodbridge in the 21st minute of play forced Gunyah's goalkeeper Dave Hislop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernie Marsland during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernie Marsland kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jemmett Woodbridge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Paz Heberle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dave Hislop was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarvis Inwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarvis Inwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Brooker Haslett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brooker Haslett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aden Fortington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When Gunyah's Jarvis Inwood in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lalla's goalie prevented a goal. Aden Fortington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Jemmett Woodbridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Hislop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Lalla's goal looked a bit too open when Aden Fortington came free, but Brooker Haslett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarvis Inwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brooker Haslett having to interfere. Aden Fortington's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brooker Haslett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When Gunyah's Aden Fortington in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lalla's goalie prevented a goal. Jarvis Inwood struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Brooker Haslett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunyah. Aden Fortington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Brooker Haslett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brooker Haslett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarvis Inwood in the 84th minute of the match. Brooker Haslett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarvis Inwood's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. A collision led to Gunyah getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Aden Fortington hit a great ball. After 89th play minutes Aden Fortington shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Brooker Haslett and just under the crossbar into goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gunyah fully deserved thier win.
