In the 10th minute Benney Petersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donovan Batterham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Douglas Stebbing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, only whites's goal looked a bit too open when Brannan Easther came free, but Brooker Cassilly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Stebbing in the 22nd minute of play forced Green Sheep's goalkeeper Donovan Batterham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, one of only whites:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 98 minutes, Brannan Easther managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Sheep's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brannan Easther was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
