After a rather tough play, Lalla's Bernie Marsland got a free kick in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stephan Boots got free with Brooker Haslett in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Lalla defense, Stephan Boots kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brooker Haslett. The Lalla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brooker Haslett should have stopped the shot. Jemmett Woodbridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brooker Haslett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jayden Dowsing in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Stephan Boots ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brooker Haslett was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jemmett Woodbridge made a kick off. Lalla's Brooker Haslett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephan Boots in the 55th minute of play. Lawrance Will hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Paz Heberle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Munroe Shipman, 2-1. In the 67th play minute Paz Heberle came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Munroe Shipman. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Hop Skip Jump's zone, Paz Heberle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Munroe Shipman came out of the goal and Paz Heberle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Munroe Shipman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paz Heberle in the 73rd minute. Nero Haslem kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Brooker Haslett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jayden Dowsing in the 76th minute of play. Jemmett Woodbridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Munroe Shipman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jemmett Woodbridge in the 87th minute of play forced Hop Skip Jump's goalkeeper Munroe Shipman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dakota Rennie hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
