Spectators: 7990 (Terracing: 5994, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Battle Rheistein made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Bamarong getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Stanley Rishton hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Bamarong defense, Bud Mcjenkins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lewis Alcock. The Bamarong fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lewis Alcock should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Merz during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 11 minutes into the game, one of Bamarong:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jerrard Willis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bamarong's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerrard Willis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Larry Playford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stephan Winkless hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Bamarong were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Halifax's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Darryl Mcvey took the corner. After taking down the ball on Bamarong's corner Darryl Mcvey fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Larry Playford quite easily take care of the ball. Larry Playford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Battle Rheistein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerrard Willis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Halifax's Larry Playford got control of the ball when Jerrard Willis tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bamarong's Battle Rheistein in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Halifax's goalie prevented a goal. Larry Playford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battle Rheistein in the 31st minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 34th minute when Battle Rheistein elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Jerrard Willis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrard Willis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bamarong booed when Halifax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan Winkless didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bud Mcjenkins to make the kick off. Battle Rheistein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larry Playford having to interfere. Larry Playford came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Bamarong's Jerrard Willis. But to his dismay, Jerrard Willis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Navin Kenack, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lewis Alcock was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Bud Mcjenkins took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Lewis Alcock to make any attempt to save it. If Jerrard Willis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brock Weller hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Battle Rheistein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bud Mcjenkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Lewis Alcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bud Mcjenkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lewis Alcock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Larry Playford stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Battle Rheistein's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Jerrard Willis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bud Mcjenkins might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lewis Alcock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bud Mcjenkins ran back to his position shaking his head. Bud Mcjenkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Halifax players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bamarong from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
