The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antony Conlin kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Munroe Fortington recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Berresford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Munroe Fortington in the 44th minute. The supporters of Bronco Utd Buddies booed when Red Castle SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwardo Gillingwater didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorimer Duggan to make the kick off. Munroe Fortington recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Art Franklin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Andres Clarke made a huge save. Munroe Fortington hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Munroe Fortington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Berresford having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
