BVB09's Henry Matthes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamese Aliendi in the 9th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Patrick Osbiston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BVB09's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apunyal the free kick. In the 9th minute, Patrick Osbiston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Matthes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neville Kile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyce Willding in the 16th minute of play forced BVB09's goalkeeper Henry Matthes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Apunyal's Jamese Aliendi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henry Matthes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute Myles Death shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobie Missen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apunyal's Tobie Missen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Apunyal from getting a goal against them. Tobie Missen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myles Death, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Antony Skurrie put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Apunyal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Tobie Missen had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Myles Death's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Myles Death took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobie Missen. Tobie Missen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 42 minutes into the match, Apunyal's goalkeeper Tobie Missen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amos Keam. After 43 minutes, Myles Death mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BVB09 and the Apunyal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Apunyal's Tobie Missen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Apunyal from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Myles Death made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Keam in the 51st minute of play forced Apunyal's goalkeeper Tobie Missen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apunyal's Tobie Missen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Myles Death in the 52nd minute of play. If Amos Keam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobie Missen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarrod Howie in the 56th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Amos Keam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobie Missen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Myles Death was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 70th minute Amos Keam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobie Missen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Myles Death received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tobie Missen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Matthes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Brandes Huther.
