Phillip Diefenbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Mcvey in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meruthera's goalkeeper Bernie Surman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Meruthera's Bernie Surman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brayden Cudmore in the 9th minute of play. Bernie Surman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corey Tresise in the 10th minute. Bernie Surman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brayden Cudmore in the 15th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Bernie Surman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corey Tresise in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernie Surman saved Meruthera from getting behind. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Corey Tresise sped through Meruthera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernie Surman. Corey Tresise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Koumala FC's Brayden Cudmore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernie Surman. That made the score 2-0 after 28 minutes of play. Bernie Surman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biddle Saisell, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Corey Tresise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes of play, Meruthera's Davey Guy made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phillip Diefenbach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Craig Orvad hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Corey Tresise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernie Surman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jake Heathwood in the 45th minute. Corey Tresise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bernie Surman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justin Mcvey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Corey Tresise might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernie Surman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Corey Tresise ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodd Kinsey kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Tom Awege shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernie Surman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 61st minute Davey Guy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Diefenbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phillip Diefenbach didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. In the 67th minute, Corey Tresise left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Koumala FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Davey Guy hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Jake Heathwood cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Bernie Surman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Corey Tresise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernie Surman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corey Tresise in the 81st minute of the match. Koumala FC made a substitution. Jarrett Alchin replaced Brayden Cudmore. Bernie Surman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jake Heathwood in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corey Tresise in the 95th minute of play forced Meruthera's goalkeeper Bernie Surman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
