After a rather tough play, Halifax's Bud Mcjenkins got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernie Miller in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Larry Playford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernie Miller in the 9th minute of play forced Halifax's goalkeeper Larry Playford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Halifax's Larry Playford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Dillon in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Halifax's goal looked a bit too open when Benny Dillon came free, but Larry Playford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Benny Dillon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Halifax's Larry Playford. Larry Playford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benny Dillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Berresford didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Halifax's Navin Kenack shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the Halifax defense, Bernie Miller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Larry Playford. The Halifax fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Larry Playford should have stopped the shot. Thomas Berresford made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Navin Kenack sent off a good shot on target. The Halifax players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bronco Utd Buddies were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernie Miller made a kick off. If Navin Kenack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Berresford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duffield Gannan in the 56th minute of play. When Bronco Utd Buddies's Bernie Miller in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Halifax's goalie prevented a goal. After 61 played minutes Halifax got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Winkless. Navin Kenack struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Thomas Berresford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halifax. Benny Dillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernie Miller in the 74th minute of play forced Halifax's goalkeeper Larry Playford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Navin Kenack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Berresford having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Navin Kenack's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Berresford was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Bud Mcjenkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 97th minute, Navin Kenack got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Bronco Utd Buddies supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bronco Utd Buddies would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
