Arne Prinsep received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henry Matthes came out and tried to block the shot, but Arne Prinsep slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Payne Hinder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myles Death, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Amos Keam came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the BVB09 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amos Keam couldn't finish the play. Payne Hinder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myles Death, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Payne Hinder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Osbiston in the 22nd minute of the match. Payne Hinder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarrod Howie in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, BVB09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Myles Death to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, BVB09's goalkeeper Henry Matthes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryant Edwards. Bryant Edwards who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Henry Matthes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 34 minutes into the game, BVB09's Myles Death nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Payne Hinder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 39 minutes, Myles Death managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BVB09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Myles Death was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, BVB09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Keam to maneuver through the defense. Payne Hinder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myles Death, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Myles Death stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Myles Death reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Payne Hinder. The goal made the score 1-2. Payne Hinder made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Amos Keam sent off a good shot on target. Poneke's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Myles Death 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Poneke's zone, Amos Keam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Payne Hinder came out of the goal and Amos Keam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arne Prinsep received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Henry Matthes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute of the match, Myles Death tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Payne Hinder saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 77th minute, BVB09's Patrick Osbiston ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Payne Hinder. Payne Hinder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amos Keam got free with Payne Hinder in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Payne Hinder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myles Death, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, BVB09's Jarrod Howie got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Bryant Edwards made a precise shot to the right of Henry Matthes. BVB09's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Amos Keam's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Payne Hinder firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Poneke supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BVB09's performance. The match ended with a win for BVB09.
