Brookong's Reese Holdsworth got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edison Lingwoodock hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Brookong's zone, Jerrard Willis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bran Devere came out of the goal and Jerrard Willis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Battle Rheistein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bamarong's supporters rose to their feet, but Battle Rheistein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bran Devere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bran Devere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battle Rheistein in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Brookong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrance Ross to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Darryl Mcvey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Lewis Alcock came out of the goal and Quincy Harding tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reese Holdsworth in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lewis Alcock saved Bamarong from getting behind. Quincy Harding struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Lewis Alcock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brookong. Kale Huther didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Reese Holdsworth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brookong's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reese Holdsworth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lewis Alcock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reese Holdsworth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Brookong's Bran Devere got control of the ball when Jerrard Willis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Benjamin Odonahoo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brookong's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bamarong the free kick. After 87 played minutes Brookong got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Odonahoo. 95 minutes into the match, Brookong's goal looked a bit too open when Battle Rheistein came free, but Bran Devere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bran Devere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Battle Rheistein in the 96th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
