After a rather tough play, BVB09's Edgar Smalley got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Jake Heathwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Koumala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jake Heathwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Matthes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BVB09's Henry Matthes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corey Tresise in the 12th minute of play. Henry Matthes made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Jake Heathwood sent off a good shot on target. Henry Matthes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corey Tresise, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Brayden Cudmore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Koumala FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BVB09 the free kick. Brayden Cudmore hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Henry Matthes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brayden Cudmore, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, BVB09's goalkeeper Henry Matthes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jake Heathwood. BVB09's Henry Matthes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save BVB09 from getting a goal against them. Koumala FC's Corey Tresise got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Koumala FC's goalkeeper Phillip Diefenbach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, BVB09's goalkeeper Henry Matthes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brayden Cudmore. BVB09's Henry Matthes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save BVB09 from getting a goal against them. Henry Matthes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brayden Cudmore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Koumala FC's zone, Amos Keam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phillip Diefenbach came out of the goal and Amos Keam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BVB09's Myles Death got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amos Keam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute Brayden Cudmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Matthes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarrod Howie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phillip Diefenbach having to make a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Corey Tresise to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, BVB09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amos Keam to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Koumala FC's goalkeeper Phillip Diefenbach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Koumala FC's Phillip Diefenbach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Koumala FC from getting a goal against them. Phillip Diefenbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Myles Death in the 66th minute of the match. If Jake Heathwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. BVB09's Henry Matthes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brayden Cudmore in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Corey Tresise notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of BVB09's Henry Matthes. Henry Matthes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Patrick Osbiston took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Phillip Diefenbach to make any attempt to save it. BVB09's Amos Keam got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Myles Death recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jarrod Howie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myles Death in the 91st minute of play forced Koumala FC's goalkeeper Phillip Diefenbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes of play, BVB09's Amos Keam made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phillip Diefenbach was left in no man's land by his defense there! The BVB09 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
