Spectators: 6852 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reese Holdsworth kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Heathwood in the 3rd minute of play forced Brookong's goalkeeper Bran Devere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phillip Diefenbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reese Holdsworth in the 4th minute of the match. Quincy Harding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Phillip Diefenbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Brookong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Odonahoo to maneuver through the defense. If Corey Tresise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Brookong's zone, Corey Tresise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bran Devere came out of the goal and Corey Tresise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Benjamin Odonahoo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Koumala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reese Holdsworth came free, but Phillip Diefenbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quincy Harding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Biddle Saisell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Brookong defense, Corey Tresise kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bran Devere. The Brookong fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bran Devere should have stopped the shot. When Koumala FC's Jake Heathwood, in the 38th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Koumala FC. In the 40th minute, Corey Tresise made a precise shot to the right of Bran Devere. Brookong's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bran Devere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brayden Cudmore in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corey Tresise stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Koumala FC's Biddle Saisell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bran Devere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Corey Tresise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Devere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bran Devere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brayden Cudmore, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Reese Holdsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Phillip Diefenbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Brookong's Edison Lingwoodock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Phillip Diefenbach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Bran Devere didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jake Heathwood went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Koumala FC's Jonathan Millar got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Quincy Harding managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brookong's supporters rose to their feet, but Quincy Harding was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phillip Diefenbach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corey Tresise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bran Devere having to interfere. Bran Devere made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Jake Heathwood sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Koumala FC's Corey Tresise sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bran Devere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Koumala FC's Corey Tresise ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bran Devere. Bran Devere yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corey Tresise in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bran Devere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Preston Brady in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Koumala FC's Michael Bromfield. Corey Tresise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Koumala FC played a much better game than Brookong and deserved their victory. The Brookong players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
