Larry Playford was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Myles Death showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Halifax's Eddy Bielski got a free kick in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Myles Death during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, BVB09's Myles Death got a free kick in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Amos Keam could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Larry Playford however easily saved by the left post. In the 19thth minute of the game Jarrod Howie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halifax's Larry Playford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patrick Osbiston's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Larry Playford skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 23rd minute, Larry Coleman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Myles Death sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Larry Playford didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Patrick Osbiston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Larry Playford came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by BVB09's Amos Keam. But to his dismay, Amos Keam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myles Death in the 37th minute of play forced Halifax's goalkeeper Larry Playford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, BVB09's Amos Keam dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Myles Death sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Halifax's zone, Jarrod Howie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Larry Playford came out of the goal and Jarrod Howie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bud Mcjenkins was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Myles Death shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larry Playford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes, Duffield Gannan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halifax and the BVB09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Duffield Gannan kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 played minutes BVB09 got a freekick which was hit by Olin Stockwin. Jarrod Howie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Larry Playford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarrod Howie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Myles Death managed to get in a good position for a shot. BVB09's supporters rose to their feet, but Myles Death was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Larry Playford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 minutes of play, BVB09's Patrick Osbiston made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Larry Playford was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarrod Howie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larry Playford having to interfere. Jarrod Howie struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Larry Playford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BVB09. Patrick Osbiston took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Larry Playford. Larry Playford dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the referee ended the match the BVB09 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
