With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernie Miller in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernie Surman saved Meruthera from getting behind. In the 17th minute, Davey Guy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abraham Laws hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Thomas Berresford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Mcvey in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Justin Mcvey fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Thomas Berresford, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Justin Mcvey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meruthera's supporters rose to their feet, but Justin Mcvey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Berresford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th match minute, Bronco Utd Buddies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dwight Bonison to maneuver through the defense. Evan Cridland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Berresford having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bronco Utd Buddies's Abraham Laws got a free kick in the 37th minute. Thomas Berresford made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Evan Cridland sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Bronco Utd Buddies's Thomas Berresford got control of the ball when Justin Mcvey tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justin Mcvey made a kick off. Bronco Utd Buddies's Thomas Berresford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evan Cridland in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bronco Utd Buddies's Tony Mcmillan got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Thomas Berresford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justin Mcvey, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Evan Cridland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Benny Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bronco Utd Buddies's supporters rose to their feet, but Benny Dillon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Meruthera.
