Spectators: 6833 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edison Beins during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Stanley getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Edison Beins hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Meruthera's Rodd Kinsey tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bath Colman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Meruthera got a freekick which was hit by Justin Mcvey. Richard Durbin came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Meruthera's Justin Mcvey. But to his dismay, Justin Mcvey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 23rd match minute, Stanley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bath Colman to maneuver through the defense. Brooks Cawthorne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bath Colman in the 30th minute of play forced Meruthera's goalkeeper Bernie Surman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Stanley's Bath Colman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernie Surman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 35th minute, Barnes Keam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Bath Colman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stanley's supporters rose to their feet, but Bath Colman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernie Surman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Craig Orvad kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Brooks Cawthorne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stanley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brooks Cawthorne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davey Guy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Durbin having to interfere.

The wind increased when Justin Mcvey made the kick off in the second half. Bath Colman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bernie Surman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Meruthera getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Davey Guy hit a great ball. Bernie Surman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bath Colman in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Evan Cridland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Richard Durbin. Evan Cridland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Bernie Surman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bath Colman, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Bath Colman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernie Surman having to interfere. Jemmett Babbage hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Bernie Surman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bath Colman in the 74th minute of the match. Davey Guy kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Bernie Surman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brooks Cawthorne in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Bath Colman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernie Surman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Justin Mcvey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Richard Durbin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bath Colman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brooks Cawthorne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernie Surman having to interfere. During the 95th minute of the match Edison Beins completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edison Beins a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Stanley's Edison Beins got a free kick in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
