Apunyal's Tobie Missen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernie Miller in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Jamese Aliendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apunyal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamese Aliendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomas Berresford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamese Aliendi in the 18th minute of play. Antony Conlin's late challenge caught a Apunyal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antony Conlin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Antony Conlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Art Franklin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jamese Aliendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Berresford having to interfere. Apunyal's Tobie Missen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Apunyal from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Apunyal's Jamese Aliendi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Berresford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jamese Aliendi took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Berresford. Thomas Berresford dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thomas Berresford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamese Aliendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bronco Utd Buddies's zone, Daniel Mcquoid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Berresford came out of the goal and Daniel Mcquoid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jamese Aliendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Neville Kile to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Neville Kile was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apunyal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bronco Utd Buddies the free kick. Thomas Berresford was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Neville Kile capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Neville Kile really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Bernie Miller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Bernie Miller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobie Missen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes, Brandes Huther mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apunyal and the Bronco Utd Buddies players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Brandes Huther hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Apunyal's Jamese Aliendi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Berresford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rich Dillon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, one of Apunyal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Apunyal. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Bronco Utd Buddies. Blade Cave stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tobie Missen. 2-2. Jamese Aliendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Berresford having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Ray Allen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernie Miller in the 94th minute of play forced Apunyal's goalkeeper Tobie Missen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
