Spectators: 6844 (Terracing: 5000,
Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 0) Stanley's Bath Colman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Stanley's Bryson Bridson got a free kick in the 7th minute. Myles Death, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Richard Durbin came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by BVB09's Amos Keam. But to his dismay, Amos Keam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Myles Death had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jarrod Howie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Keam in the 19th minute of play forced Stanley's goalkeeper Richard Durbin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Myles Death quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Myles Death made a kick off. Jarrod Howie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Richard Durbin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Osbiston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Durbin having to interfere. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Amos Keam sped through Stanley's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Richard Durbin. Amos Keam in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Richard Durbin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, BVB09's Olin Stockwin got a free kick in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bath Colman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stanley's supporters rose to their feet, but Bath Colman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Matthes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarrod Howie might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Durbin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarrod Howie ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the game, Anthony Didlick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Henry Matthes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anthony Didlick scored 3-5 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Matthes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute Myles Death shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Durbin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amos Keam succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-6 in the 88th playminute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allen Digiuseppe in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Durbin saved Stanley from getting behind. Richard Durbin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myles Death, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Stanley fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BVB09 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
