Larry Playford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Bud Mcjenkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobie Missen made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Navin Kenack sent off a good shot on target. After 10 played minutes Apunyal got a freekick which was hit by Boyce Willding. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brandes Huther during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Apunyal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandes Huther to maneuver through the defense. Tobie Missen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bud Mcjenkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobie Missen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bud Mcjenkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bud Mcjenkins in the 23rd minute of play forced Apunyal's goalkeeper Tobie Missen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Navin Kenack could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Tobie Missen made a huge save. Bud Mcjenkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jamese Aliendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bud Mcjenkins to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Apunyal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyce Willding to maneuver through the defense. Brock Weller kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Tobie Missen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bud Mcjenkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 71 minutes into the match, Bud Mcjenkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobie Missen. Apunyal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bud Mcjenkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 74th minute, Apunyal's Rich Dillon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rich Dillon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Apunyal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rich Dillon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Halifax a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Henry Turnor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Apunyal's Tobie Missen. 2-1. Larry Playford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ray Allen, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Brock Weller was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Brandes Huther kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Henry Turnor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobie Missen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 93 played minutes Apunyal got a freekick which was hit by Boyce Willding. The Apunyal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Halifax from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
