After 4 minutes, Alford Yard made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Halifax FC's Benjamin Pack tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute Alford Yard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Pack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Alford Yard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEPE United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alford Yard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Buchanan Bower was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halifax FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PEPE United the free kick. The supporters of PEPE United booed when Halifax FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Buchanan Bower didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alford Yard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Pack having to interfere. A collision led to Halifax FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Munroe Balaam hit a great ball. If Drew Hardiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, PEPE United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillip Dorrell to maneuver through the defense. Munroe Balaam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Jerico having to interfere. Drew Hardiman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Filomeno Jerico made a huge save. The Halifax FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PEPE United were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alford Yard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Alford Yard dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benjamin Pack, 0-3. The supporters of Halifax FC booed when PEPE United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phillip Dorrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phillip Dorrell hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Alford Yard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Pack having to make a save. If Quincy Dobson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alford Yard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benjamin Pack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alford Yard in the 72nd minute of play. After 78 played minutes PEPE United got a freekick which was hit by Phillip Dorrell. Gigel Minteuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Pack read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Benjamin Pack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alford Yard in the 84th minute of play. Murdock Stockwin hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes Quincy Dobson rounded Halifax FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4.
