Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robert Butterworth took the kick off in the first half of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Jervis Cowdell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheviot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quaama the free kick. Davey Deal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artie Stevenson in the 19th minute of play. Handley Cudmore struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Bradley Haeberle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheviot. If Bradley Fazey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bradley Fazey in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bradley Haeberle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cheviot's Davey Deal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Butterworth in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Cheviot's Jervis Cowdell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bradley Haeberle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Duncan Auger came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Cheviot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duncan Auger couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Bradley Fazey made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Quaama's zone, Duncan Auger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradley Haeberle came out of the goal and Duncan Auger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quaama's Robert Butterworth got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bradford Sawbridge kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jervis Cowdell hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Fleming Leach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Handley Cudmore kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cheviot's Davey Deal got control of the ball when Robert Butterworth tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Barnes Dale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Butterworth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Davey Deal made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Handley Cudmore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Cheviot's goal looked a bit too open when Fleming Leach came free, but Davey Deal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cheviot's Bradford Sawbridge got a free kick in the 94th minute. Quaama's Bradley Haeberle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jervis Cowdell in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Quaama players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
