If Alford Yard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alford Yard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Benjamin Pack made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Phillip Dorrell during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filomeno Jerico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Hardiman in the 9th minute of play. Quincy Dobson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Benjamin Pack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alford Yard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Munroe Balaam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Filomeno Jerico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Drew Hardiman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halifax FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Drew Hardiman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Jerico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Drew Hardiman struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Filomeno Jerico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halifax FC. When Munroe Balaam came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Halifax FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Munroe Balaam couldn't finish the play. If Alford Yard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gigel Minteuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Pack having to interfere. Alford Yard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 44 minutes into the game, PEPE United's Alford Yard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Pack made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alford Yard was the one to do the kick off. Drew Hardiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Jerico having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Alford Yard managed to get in a good position for a shot. PEPE United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alford Yard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Pack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 minutes, Alford Yard made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Halifax FC's Benjamin Pack tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Filomeno Jerico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Munroe Balaam, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The supporters of Halifax FC booed when PEPE United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. 江勇文 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Munroe Balaam's late challenge caught a PEPE United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Munroe Balaam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Jerico having to interfere. Munroe Balaam received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filomeno Jerico came out and tried to block the shot, but Munroe Balaam slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 90th minute. Filomeno Jerico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Munroe Balaam in the 93rd minute of the match. PEPE United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Halifax FC for a fine match.
