Alford Yard started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Brandon Warhurst mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gulginni and the PEPE United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Alford Yard managed to get in a good position for a shot. PEPE United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alford Yard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacob Teuma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 7 minutes, Alford Yard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEPE United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alford Yard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacob Teuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alford Yard in the 10th minute of play. Alford Yard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jacob Teuma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alford Yards short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Jacob Teuma to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kirk Powell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Filomeno Jerico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gulginni's Brandon Warhurst got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Brandon Warhurst off the ground. Filomeno Jerico came out of the goal and Sabastian Seistrup tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Gulginni's Jacob Teuma got control of the ball when Alford Yard tried to sneak it across the goal line. PEPE United's Bishop Allan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacob Teuma in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 39th minute, Alford Yard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes in the game Max Ritter did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hans Allcock. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Sabastian Seistrup's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filomeno Jerico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Sabastian Seistrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Jerico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alford Yard scored 1-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacob Teuma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alford Yard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Teuma having to interfere. When Phillip Dorrell fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PEPE United's protests and gave Phillip Dorrell a yellow card for diving instead. Phillip Dorrell hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gulginni's Max Ritter got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jacob Teuma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alford Yard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Alford Yard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PEPE United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gulginni's goalkeeper Jacob Teuma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bryson Rose kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Alford Yard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Teuma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
