Spectators: 8029 (Terracing: 6023, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elliott Turnbull made the kick off which started today's match. Archie Askew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Turnbull in the 4th minute of the match. Albert Shire FC's Archie Askew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Turnbull in the 8th minute of play. Jason Moon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Art Hollingworth in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match, Al Sparrow got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jason Moon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jason Moon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Art Hollingworth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Archie Askew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Turnbull in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Latrobe got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Didlock. 23 minutes into the match, Albert Shire FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Turnbull came free, but Archie Askew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Latrobe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Art Hollingworth scored to the left of an out of position Jason Moon, making the score, 1-0. After 28 played minutes Albert Shire FC got a freekick which was hit by Fleming Staworowski. Art Hollingworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Moon having to interfere. After some careless play in the Latrobe defense, Al Sparrow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jason Moon. The Latrobe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jason Moon should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Jess Kinnaird's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Archie Askew was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Art Hollingworth to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Albert Shire FC's goalkeeper Archie Askew had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jess Kinnaird. After 59 played minutes Albert Shire FC got a freekick which was hit by Al Sparrow. Jess Kinnaird who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Archie Askew when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Albert Shire FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Turnbull came free, but Archie Askew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ike Miller fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albert Shire FC's protests and gave Ike Miller a yellow card for diving instead. Ike Miller kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes, Latrobe's Rusty Petersen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Archie Askew came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Latrobe reached it. Jess Kinnaird in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Archie Askew, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 71 minutes into the match, Albert Shire FC's goalkeeper Archie Askew had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jess Kinnaird. In the 73rd minute Ike Miller suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Latrobe's Patrick Didlock got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Patrick Didlock off the ground. After 74 played minutes Latrobe got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Didlock. 78 minutes into the match, Albert Shire FC's goalkeeper Archie Askew had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jess Kinnaird. With his leg Archie Askew managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Latrobe's Elliott Turnbull fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 82nd minute of the match, Jess Kinnaird got a very nice opportunity to score, but Archie Askew was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Elliott Turnbull in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Archie Askew, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Art Hollingworth kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Eavan Ludwick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Latrobe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albert Shire FC the free kick. After 85 played minutes Latrobe got a freekick which was hit by Eavan Ludwick. Jess Kinnaird's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Archie Askew skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elliott Turnbull recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Albert Shire FC's Archie Askew got control of the ball when Jess Kinnaird tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Art Hollingworth during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Art Hollingworth hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Albert Shire FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Latrobe had controlled the match.
