An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Millgate in the 4th minute of play forced Pun FC's goalkeeper Dakota Aroege to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Unicomb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myles Butterfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Myles Butterfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Unicomb having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Cancun's goal looked a bit too open when Myles Butterfield came free, but Max Unicomb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chuck Cubitt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Max Unicomb. Cancun's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 21st minute Myles Butterfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Unicomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bennett Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rusty Hoey's late challenge caught a Cancun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rusty Hoey helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Pun FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusty Hoey to maneuver through the defense. Iggi Smoothy, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dakota Aroege showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Millgate in the 30th minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, Pun FC's Bennett Simpson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Max Unicomb was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Abraham Schulze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Myles Butterfield was the one to do the kick off. When Bennett Simpson came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Pun FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bennett Simpson couldn't finish the play. Dakota Aroege took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Millgate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Schulze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max Unicomb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bennett Simpson went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Cancun's zone, Bennett Simpson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Unicomb came out of the goal and Bennett Simpson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dakota Aroege showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Schulze in the 72nd minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Cancun's goal looked a bit too open when Myles Butterfield came free, but Max Unicomb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bennett Simpson got free with Max Unicomb in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bennett Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Max Unicomb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chuck Cubitt's late challenge caught a Cancun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chuck Cubitt helped the player get up and apologised. Chuck Cubitt kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Casper Monck didn't quite understand what happened when in the 100 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The Cancun supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pun FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pun FC.
