Spectators: 8130 (Terracing: 6099, Seating: 1870, VIP seats: 161) Alex Kinsey started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Inter Wodonga's Alex Kinsey was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 3rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 5th minute, Bennett Osbiston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 minutes, Brennan Reynolds mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Wodonga and the Bankstown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Inter Wodonga's Brennan Reynolds got a free kick in the 6th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter Wodonga's Bleyd Hamilton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arthur Aliendi. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. Bleyd Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Aliendi having to interfere. Bleyd Hamilton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur Aliendi having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Sinden during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bankstown FC's Ivan Sinden got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes, Alex Kinsey made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bankstown FC's Arthur Aliendi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arthur Aliendi made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Alex Kinsey sent off a good shot on target. Danny Devere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennett Osbiston in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Inter Wodonga's Bleyd Hamilton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arthur Aliendi. Arthur Aliendi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 33rd match minute, Inter Wodonga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Didlock to maneuver through the defense. Danny Devere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archie Orvad, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Alex Kinsey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arthur Aliendi. Alex Kinsey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. After 43 played minutes Inter Wodonga got a freekick which was hit by Connor Vaughan. Bennett Osbiston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Archie Orvad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Devere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bennett Osbiston to make the kick off. Bankstown FC's Arthur Aliendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bleyd Hamilton in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute Bleyd Hamilton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Aliendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Aliendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Kinsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Alex Kinsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Aliendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bankstown FC's zone, Bleyd Hamilton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Aliendi came out of the goal and Bleyd Hamilton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bleyd Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Aliendi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bleyd Hamilton in the 71st minute of play forced Bankstown FC's goalkeeper Arthur Aliendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Kinsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Aliendi having to interfere. Arthur Aliendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Kinsey in the 78th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Kinsey in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Aliendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 minutes, Bennett Osbiston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bankstown FC and the Inter Wodonga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bennett Osbiston kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Alex Kinsey made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bankstown FC's Arthur Aliendi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute of the match Bleyd Hamilton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arthur Aliendi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Inter Wodonga's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
