Spectators: 7899 (Terracing: 6008, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 50) John Weller started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Al Fieldhouse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berke Sobezak in the 4th minute of the match. Berke Curtis made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Lucas Bailey sent off a good shot on target. When Berkeley Nurthen came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Collingwood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berkeley Nurthen couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Gregory Stebbing dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Berke Curtis, 2-0. Al Fieldhouse came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Collingwood's Edgar Gillingwater. But to his dismay, Edgar Gillingwater quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. John Weller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Berke Curtis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Lucas Bailey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berke Curtis. Collingwood's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Bailey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Berke Curtis made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Lucas Bailey sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Bailey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Berke Curtis made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Weller in the 36th minute of play forced Collingwood's goalkeeper Berke Curtis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Walgett getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bickford Goring hit a great ball. Lucas Bailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berke Sobezak was the one to do the kick off. Berkeley Nurthen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Berkeley Nurthen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berkeley Nurthen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rodd Buckland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Collingwood's goal looked a bit too open when John Weller came free, but Berke Curtis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al Fieldhouse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berkeley Nurthen in the 70th minute. Berkeley Nurthen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Fieldhouse having to interfere. Edgar Gillingwater recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bickford Goring hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Berkeley Nurthen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Al Fieldhouse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Al Fieldhouse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berke Sobezak, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Berkeley Nurthens short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Al Fieldhouse to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Many of Collingwood's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Collingwood may have spent more time on the ball, but Walgett were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
