The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Biggs Perandis kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Abraham Schulze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Danny Devere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Brennan Reynolds recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Max Unicomb. Brennan Reynolds showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 12th minute Abraham Schulze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Devere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bleyd Hamilton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Biggs Perandis took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Max Unicomb. Max Unicomb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Cancun's goalkeeper Max Unicomb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Kinsey. In the 34th minute, Alex Kinsey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Max Unicomb was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 39th minute, Inter Wodonga's Bleyd Hamilton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Max Unicomb. Max Unicomb yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. A hard shot 49 in the game by Alex Kinsey from a close distance when the talented Max Unicomb managed to make a qualified save. Cancun's players were relieved.

Danny Devere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Schulze in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Russel Pukallus during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Inter Wodonga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russel Pukallus to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Cancun's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Kinsey came free, but Max Unicomb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Morey kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birrell Rishton during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Birrell Rishton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Alex Kinsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter Wodonga's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Kinsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Unicomb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alex Kinsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bleyd Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Inter Wodonga's Alex Kinsey in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cancun's goalie prevented a goal. Max Unicomb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Kinsey in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Bleyd Hamilton notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Cancun's Max Unicomb. Max Unicomb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Inter Wodonga's Danny Devere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Inter Wodonga from getting a goal against them. After having played for 78 minutes, Alex Kinsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Wodonga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Kinsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ian Haeberle charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Haeberle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Inter Wodonga's Alex Kinsey got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Kinsey in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Unicomb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 minutes, Alex Kinsey made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cancun's Max Unicomb tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bleyd Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Unicomb having to interfere. Case Kidman kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
