Albert Shire FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bankstown FC the free kick. A collision led to Albert Shire FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Arthur Aliendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Art Hollingworth, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fleming Staworowski during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Albert Shire FC's Fleming Staworowski got a free kick in the 80th minute. Evan Barry was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Albert Shire FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bennett Osbiston came free, but Archie Askew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bennett Osbiston blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Archie Askew having to make a save. If Clifford Clark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Albert Shire FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bankstown FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
