Spectators: 7954 (Terracing: 5967, Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mark Shortus started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Mark Shortus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanley Bouer was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Minnivale's Andre Staworowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Prince in the 6th minute of play. Matthews Macumber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanley Bouer having to interfere. Mark Shortus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Stanley Bouer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wyanga's Stanley Bouer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Shortus in the 23rd minute of play. With his leg Stanley Bouer managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Minnivale's Matthews Macumber fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 26 played minutes Minnivale got a freekick which was hit by Kent Curtis. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Joshua Prince managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wyanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Joshua Prince was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Staworowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jacob Muddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Hitchen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joshua Prince sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Arthur Hitchen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andre Staworowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Minnivale players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wyanga were winning 0-1.

Stanley Bouer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loud Lester in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Irwin Potter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacob Muddle's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andre Staworowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Joshua Prince had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Arthur Hitchen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Staworowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joshua Prince came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Wyanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joshua Prince couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Minnivale's zone, Arthur Hitchen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andre Staworowski came out of the goal and Arthur Hitchen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd match minute, Minnivale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loud Lester to maneuver through the defense. Wyanga's Joshua Prince got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Arthur Hitchen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Staworowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Joshua Prince got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wyanga eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
