Spectators: 8006 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 150) Tom Millar made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the game, Bill Haeberle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pekina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jimmy Team the free kick. In the 4th minute, Bill Haeberle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Stew Dollymore reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Corder Kreck. The goal made the score 1-0. Jimmy Team's Marcus Sperling pulled a muscle in his leg after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Jimmy Team booed when Pekina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Howie Winkless didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corder Kreck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyce Spurr, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14thth minute of the game Tom Millar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pekina's Corder Kreck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tom Millar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corder Kreck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pekina's zone, Tom Millar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corder Kreck came out of the goal and Tom Millar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tom Millar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Corder Kreck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pekina's goalkeeper Corder Kreck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boyce Spurr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Corder Kreck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Bill Haeberle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stew Dollymore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Corder Kreck managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Jimmy Team's Tom Millar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Jimmy Team getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Tom Millar hit a great ball. Jess Vickery stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Howie Winkless's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Pekina's Dean Schoenke got a free kick in the 44th minute. Stew Dollymore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Corder Kreck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Millar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corder Kreck having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Howie Winkless made the kick off in the second half. Stew Dollymore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 minutes, Tom Millar made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pekina's Corder Kreck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Corder Kreck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Millar, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute, Ozzie Fasey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryant Durbridge in the 72nd minute of play forced Pekina's goalkeeper Corder Kreck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Bryant Durbridge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corder Kreck was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some careless play in the Pekina defense, Tom Millar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corder Kreck. The Pekina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corder Kreck should have stopped the shot. Corder Kreck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Millar in the 79th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Jimmy Team got a freekick which was hit by David Mogork. In the 83rd minute, Tom Millar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Howie Winkless in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jess Vickery saved Jimmy Team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Tom Millar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Corder Kreck was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. If Stew Dollymore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
