Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berke Sugden took the kick off in the first half of the match. Berke Sugden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brye Barugh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Marshall Thiele hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Berke Sugden took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brye Barugh. Brye Barugh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Meow's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Goodbun came free, but Brye Barugh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Thiele in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Meow booed when Grandchester FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurence Diehl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobs Knevett, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 20 played minutes Grandchester FC got a freekick which was hit by Bennett Egel. Thanks to some nice moves Bremen Caddick could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Dino Zoff however easily saved by the left post. Grandchester FC's Dino Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Grandchester FC from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Grandchester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marshall Thiele came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Bradley Goodbun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brye Barugh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Meow's Marshall Thiele dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marshall Thiele to strike the kick off in the second half. Bud Sanderson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Brye Barugh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berke Sugden in the 63rd minute. With his leg Brye Barugh managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Grandchester FC's Berke Sugden fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Berke Sugden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Brye Barugh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Meow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randall Schonke to maneuver through the defense. Brye Barugh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradley Goodbun, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Meow's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Goodbun came free, but Brye Barugh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grandchester FC's Berke Sugden got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brye Barugh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Goodbun in the 84th minute of play. Brye Barugh came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Grandchester FC's Berke Sugden. But to his dismay, Berke Sugden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Bradley Goodbun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Meow defense, Berke Sugden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brye Barugh. The Meow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brye Barugh should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Grandchester FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Meow throughout the match.
