Spectators: 6836 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mark Shortus started the match with the kick off. Muntham's Burtt Telfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Shortus in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Matthews Macumber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Burtt Telfer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th minute, Joshua Hicks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Muntham's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Shortus came free, but Burtt Telfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Minnivale's Matthews Macumber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Burtt Telfer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 15 minutes, Matthews Macumber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minnivale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthews Macumber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Burtt Telfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthews Macumber, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Bray Brien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Andre Staworowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bray Brien came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Muntham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bray Brien couldn't finish the play. If Matthews Macumber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Mark Shortus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Burtt Telfer. Muntham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Shortus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Burtt Telfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Shortus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthews Macumber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Muntham's Eddie Schulze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andre Staworowski. Andre Staworowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddie Schulze made a kick off. If Bray Brien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthews Macumber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Burtt Telfer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. When Matthews Macumber came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Minnivale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthews Macumber couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd match minute, Muntham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jess Wood to maneuver through the defense. Mark Shortus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Burtt Telfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Shortus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddie Schulze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bray Brien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Staworowski having to interfere. In the 78th minute Mark Shortus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burtt Telfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Minnivale's zone, Eddie Schulze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andre Staworowski came out of the goal and Eddie Schulze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, Bray Brien notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Minnivale's Andre Staworowski. Andre Staworowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute, Bray Brien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joshua Hicks charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Hicks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Joshua Hicks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrew Favas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
