Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bruno Glover kicked off to start the match. Bill Oconnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Tongs having to interfere. The supporters of Tooligie booed when Neoteric FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Caddick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irving Wenham came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Neoteric FC's Burt Hart. But to his dismay, Burt Hart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Tooligie's Logan Kiel got a free kick in the 12th minute. Burt Hart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Tooligie getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bradley Porteus hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Conner Delbridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Bruno Glover got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bock Garing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irving Wenham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Glover in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Glover in the 31st minute of play forced Tooligie's goalkeeper Irving Wenham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Glover struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Irving Wenham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neoteric FC. Irving Wenham didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Glover went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corder Wayland to strike the kick off in the second half. Bruno Glover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irving Wenham having to interfere. Kenneth Busst hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Lewis Salcedo suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. 55 minutes into the game, Corder Wayland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tooligie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neoteric FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Bradley Porteus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tooligie's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradley Porteus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthias Tongs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Joseph Caddick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Tooligie's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Alwege came free, but Irving Wenham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Caddick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irving Wenham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Caddick in the 82nd minute of play. Bjorn Cassilly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Bradley Porteus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tooligie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neoteric FC the free kick. Bradley Porteus kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Burt Hart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irving Wenham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tooligie's goalkeeper Irving Wenham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Caddick in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Irving Wenham saved Tooligie from getting behind. Irving Wenham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Bromfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The Tooligie fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Neoteric FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
