Pymble Leopards FC's Alford Cudmore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burt Hart in the 8th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Neoteric FC's Burt Hart in the 11th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Alford Cudmore was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pymble Leopards FC through an amazing save. When Bruno Glover came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Neoteric FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Glover couldn't finish the play. Matthias Tongs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Payton Mudie, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Bruno Glover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pymble Leopards FC's Matthew Holdsworth got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Bruno Glover came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Neoteric FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Glover couldn't finish the play. Bruno Glover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alford Cudmore having to interfere. Alford Cudmore made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Bruno Glover sent off a good shot on target. Bruno Glover struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Alford Cudmore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neoteric FC. After having played for 89 minutes, Burt Hart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neoteric FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burt Hart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Glover received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alford Cudmore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alford Cudmore came out of the goal and Joseph Caddick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
