Jamie Markwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Maslin in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruce Mackney in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cod Mcgaw prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute Bruce Mackney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cod Mcgaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bruce Mackney sped through Gondwana Baryonyx's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cod Mcgaw. 19 minutes into the match, T&G OCEAN's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Maslin came free, but Jamie Markwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The T&G OCEAN fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when T&G OCEAN's Bruce Mackney looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dakota Fazey kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Bruce Mackney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gondwana Baryonyx's Cod Mcgaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Mackney in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gondwana Baryonyx's zone, Bruce Mackney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cod Mcgaw came out of the goal and Bruce Mackney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, T&G OCEAN's goalkeeper Jamie Markwell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brendan Bacon. Gondwana Baryonyx's Cod Mcgaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Mackney in the 40th minute of play. Jamie Markwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dakota Fazey, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Bray Jackson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

T&G OCEAN's Darren Beaverley was substituted for John Mcmurchie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dakota Fazey in the 54th minute of play forced T&G OCEAN's goalkeeper Jamie Markwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Bruce Mackney's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cod Mcgaw was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Cod Mcgaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Mackney in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the T&G OCEAN defense, Antonio Maslin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jamie Markwell. The T&G OCEAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jamie Markwell should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute Brendan Bacon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Markwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Bacon in the 68th minute of play forced T&G OCEAN's goalkeeper Jamie Markwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pearce Trenoweth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cod Mcgaw having to interfere. In the 76th minute Edison Huff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cod Mcgaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. T&G OCEAN had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
