Burt Hart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannan Stevens having to interfere. Brannan Stevens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Glover in the 12th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Neoteric FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eden Forrest came free, but Matthias Tongs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Eden Forrest had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matthias Tongs. Neoteric FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eden Forrest was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Glover in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brannan Stevens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Corella booed when Neoteric FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burt Hart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burt Hart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corbett Rennie during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
