After having played for 4 minutes, Hale Shipp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pymble Leopards FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hale Shipp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alford Cudmore made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Aaron Moorby sent off a good shot on target. Payton Mudie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bock Calver having to interfere. Aaron Moorby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hale Shipp came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Pymble Leopards FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hale Shipp couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hale Shipp in the 33rd minute of play forced Pegar's goalkeeper Bock Calver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Payton Mudie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bock Calver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Pegar's goal looked a bit too open when Hale Shipp came free, but Bock Calver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Moorby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnett Veitch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alford Cudmore having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Payton Mudie made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Pymble Leopards FC got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Holdsworth. Pymble Leopards FC's Alford Cudmore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnett Veitch in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pymble Leopards FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bartholemew Renshaw was slow to take the kick. During this time Pegar's players had a chance to rest. If Aaron Moorby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Barnett Veitch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alford Cudmore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Payton Mudie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pegar booed when Pymble Leopards FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Holdsworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pymble Leopards FC's goalkeeper Alford Cudmore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hale Shipp took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bock Calver. Bock Calver dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Barnett Veitch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aaron Moorby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alford Cudmore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Barnett Veitch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hale Shipp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bock Calver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pymble Leopards FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
