Spectators: 6831 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Corder Wayland made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Bray Jackson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cod Mcgaw stood somewhat misplaced when Bill Oconnell came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. 8 minutes into the match, Gondwana Baryonyx's goalkeeper Cod Mcgaw had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bill Oconnell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corder Wayland in the 11th minute of play forced Gondwana Baryonyx's goalkeeper Cod Mcgaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corder Wayland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cod Mcgaw having to interfere. Cod Mcgaw acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Albert Gronow. The supporters of Tooligie booed when Gondwana Baryonyx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Maslin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Bill Oconnell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tooligie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bill Oconnell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Fletcher Reynolds got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Logan Kiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fletcher Reynolds didn't quite understand what happened when in the 38 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 41st minute of the match, Bill Oconnell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cod Mcgaw was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dakota Fazey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Irving Wenham having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Gondwana Baryonyx's zone, Corder Wayland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cod Mcgaw came out of the goal and Corder Wayland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Tooligie's goalkeeper Irving Wenham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brendan Bacon. After a rather tough play, Gondwana Baryonyx's Antonio Maslin got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Dakota Fazey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute, Kenneth Busst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Irving Wenham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dakota Fazey in the 83rd minute of play. If Brendan Bacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gondwana Baryonyx players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tooligie.
