The crowd rose to their feet as Benny Laws kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jamie Markwell. That made the score 1-2 in the 46 minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barnett Veitch to make the kick off. The Pegar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
