The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Irwin Wayland scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darryl Phillips, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tugun Jets FC's Burns Claringbold got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Irwin Wayland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darryl Phillips having to make a save. In the 37th minute, Brand Burtt made a precise shot to the right of Darryl Phillips. Tugun Jets FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Dean Goodward didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Jacobs Paddle struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Dean Goodward didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tugun Jets FC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Tugun Jets FC's Burns Claringbold got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jacobs Paddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Burns Claringbold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tugun Jets FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burns Claringbold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jacobs Paddle came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Tugun Jets FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobs Paddle couldn't finish the play. If Burns Claringbold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tugun Jets FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Ben Saisell scored to the left of an out of position Darryl Phillips, making the score, 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobs Paddle in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dean Goodward saved Relaxmore Deux FC from getting behind. The supporters of Tugun Jets FC booed when Relaxmore Deux FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benson Mcmurchie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Relaxmore Deux FC's Dean Goodward played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory William in the 82nd minute of play. If Belton Coleman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dean Goodward showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belton Coleman, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Belton Coleman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Burns Claringbold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacobs Paddle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute Russel Dobbing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Goodward saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Relaxmore Deux FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Tugun Jets FC's much stronger midfield.
