After having played for 3 minutes, Andrews Cowdell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nicholson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrews Cowdell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Nicholson booed when Bunnaby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Case Convine didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Goiano got free with Marshal Reichelt in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sidney Goiano succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Marshal Reichelt was a little too slow when Sidney Goiano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Ray Schoenke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Death in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Nicholson getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Laurence Death hit a great ball. Ray Schoenke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barney Bonison, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Bunnaby's Sidney Goiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marshal Reichelt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. A well placed Sidney Goiano short distance shot in the 37th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. If Laurence Death had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Nicholson defense, Sidney Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marshal Reichelt. The Nicholson fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marshal Reichelt should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barney Bonison to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Case Convine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bunnaby's supporters rose to their feet, but Case Convine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marshal Reichelt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamese Rutledge in the 53rd minute of play forced Nicholson's goalkeeper Marshal Reichelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidney Goiano struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Marshal Reichelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bunnaby. In the 57th minute, Case Convine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 58th play minutes Sidney Goiano shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Marshal Reichelt and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 71st minute, Sidney Goiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marshal Reichelt was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. If Sidney Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Ray Schoenke managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Nicholson's Laurence Death fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sidney Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marshal Reichelt having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Nicholson's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Goiano came free, but Marshal Reichelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidney Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marshal Reichelt having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duncan Favas in the 94th minute of play forced Bunnaby's goalkeeper Ray Schoenke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nicholson's zone, Case Convine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marshal Reichelt came out of the goal and Case Convine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
