Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Jerrard Simpson made the kick off and thus started the match. Sam Behla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonty Mcinnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allen Hogan kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Jonty Mcinnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Behla having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Mark Butterfield successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jonty Mcinnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sam Behla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Butterfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Howarth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sydney Eagles's Mark Butterfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Park in the 29th minute of play. Mark Butterfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Howarth in the 31st minute of the match. If Jonty Mcinnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrard Simpson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Butterfield having to interfere. If Andy Howarth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Allen Hogan might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Butterfield. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allen Hogan ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Sydney Eagles's zone, Andy Howarth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Butterfield came out of the goal and Andy Howarth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Kyle Kuskop made the kick off in the second half. Jerrard Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Mark Butterfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Jerrard Simpson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mark Butterfield. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sydney Eagles's goalkeeper Mark Butterfield, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mark Butterfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Howarth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Sydney Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Ed Hardiman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrard Simpson in the 82nd minute of play forced Sydney Eagles's goalkeeper Mark Butterfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Sydney Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Jerrard Simpson came free, but Mark Butterfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jack Park had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes, Raymond Rann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sydney Eagles and the Blackened FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sydney Eagles's Raymond Rann got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the Sydney Eagles defense, Andy Howarth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Butterfield. The Sydney Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Butterfield should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Blackened FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
