Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Duncan Favas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nicholson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penaldo Pessi FC the free kick. The supporters of Penaldo Pessi FC booed when Nicholson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Favas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marshal Reichelt came out of the goal and Gavril Mironov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Myles Tinsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Penaldo Pessi FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Navin Staworowski hit a great ball. After 22 minutes, Rodd Pearman made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nicholson's Marshal Reichelt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th match minute, Penaldo Pessi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darin Porteus to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Laurence Death had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norman Beattie. Penaldo Pessi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurence Death was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 30th match minute, Nicholson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrews Cowdell to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes of play, Penaldo Pessi FC's 温云志 made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marshal Reichelt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, 温云志 made a precise shot to the right of Marshal Reichelt. Nicholson's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Marshal Reichelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 温云志 in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Rodd Pearman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nicholson's Marshal Reichelt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If 温云志 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marshal Reichelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodd Pearman in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodd Pearman made a kick off. 温云志 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Penaldo Pessi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 温云志 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marshal Reichelt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marshal Reichelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodd Pearman in the 62nd minute of the match. Gavril Mironovs short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Marshal Reichelt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rodd Pearman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Marshal Reichelt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marshal Reichelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 温云志 in the 94th minute of the match. Marshal Reichelt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodd Pearman's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Penaldo Pessi FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
