Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexander Lucas kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Corbett Wenham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berkeley Minne. Eagleston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corbett Wenham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Murmungee's Corbett Wenham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berkeley Minne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Corbett Wenham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murmungee's supporters rose to their feet, but Corbett Wenham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berkeley Minne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corbett Wenham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnett Baxter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Berkeley Minne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Murmungee's Corbett Wenham, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Murmungee. Iggi Bonham hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Corbett Wenham struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Berkeley Minne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murmungee. Berkeley Minne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnett Baxter in the 35th minute of the match. Corbett Wenham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berkeley Minne having to interfere. Corbett Wenham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes in the game, Barnett Baxter fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Berkeley Minne having to interfere. The supporters of Murmungee booed when Eagleston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russ Schoenke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Jarrett Millard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murmungee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarrett Millard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barnett Baxter made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corbett Wenham in the 52nd minute of play forced Eagleston's goalkeeper Berkeley Minne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alan Porteus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Murmungee getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Buck Schonke hit a great ball. Berkeley Minne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnett Baxter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corbett Wenham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 minutes, Iggi Bonham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eagleston and the Murmungee players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Barnett Baxter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berkeley Minne was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. When Corbett Wenham came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Murmungee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corbett Wenham couldn't finish the play. Barnett Baxter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Berkeley Minne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Corbett Wenham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berkeley Minne was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Berkeley Minne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corbett Wenham in the 91st minute of the match. Murmungee walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
