Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jerrard Simpson got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Blackened FC's goalkeeper Sam Behla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corbett Wenham. Jarrett Millard charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarrett Millard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 7 minutes into the game, one of Murmungee:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jerrard Simpson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Corbett Wenham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Barnett Baxter came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Murmungee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnett Baxter couldn't finish the play. Blackened FC's Sam Behla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnett Baxter in the 28th minute of play. Corbett Wenham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Sam Behla made a huge save. In the 37th minute Barnett Baxter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Behla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Murmungee's Corbett Wenham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sam Behla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Allen Hogan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Jarrett Millard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sam Behla. Blackened FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Buck Schonke hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barnett Baxter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sam Behla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnett Baxter in the 54th minute of the match. Rex Fieldhouse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerrard Simpson went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Andy Howarth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rex Fieldhouse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerrard Simpson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Rex Fieldhouse made a huge save. Andy Howarth kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Corbett Wenham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Behla having to interfere. Murmungee's Barnett Baxter got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerrard Simpson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Rex Fieldhouse made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corbett Wenham in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sam Behla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute, Douglas Schultz made a precise shot to the right of Sam Behla. Blackened FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The Blackened FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Murmungee from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
