Spectators: 7989 (Terracing: 5993, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sidney Goiano started the match with the kick off. Sidney Goiano came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sam Behla could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Blackened FC's Jack Park got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Goiano in the 12th minute of play forced Blackened FC's goalkeeper Sam Behla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bunnaby getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jamese Rutledge hit a great ball. Ray Schoenke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerrard Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bunnaby booed when Blackened FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allen Hogan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Blackened FC's Jack Park made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ray Schoenke was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Blackened FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Clark came free, but Sam Behla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Clark struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Sam Behla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bunnaby. Ray Schoenke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerrard Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Matthias Gray had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sam Behla. Blackened FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthias Gray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jack Park managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blackened FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Park was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Schoenke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ray Schoenke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerrard Simpson in the 41st minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Matthias Gray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bunnaby and the Blackened FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th minute Andy Howarth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Schoenke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerrard Simpson was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Bunnaby's goalkeeper Ray Schoenke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Park. Bunnaby's Ray Schoenke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bunnaby from getting a goal against them. Sidney Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Blackened FC's Allen Hogan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ray Schoenke. Ray Schoenke yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After 64 minutes of play, Blackened FC's Jerrard Simpson made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ray Schoenke was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerrard Simpson got free with Ray Schoenke in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th match minute, Bunnaby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Goiano to maneuver through the defense. Jerrard Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ray Schoenke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Alexander Clark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Behla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Blackened FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Park to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the game, Hendratmo Suwondo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Blackened FC's Allen Hogan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet as Jack Park kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ray Schoenke. That made the score 1-4 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over Blackened FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bunnaby throughout the match.
